ClearCase "dbcheck" crashes with Unhandled exception in ClearCase 7.1

Solution Recently, we encountered a new bug in ClearCase 7.1 “dbcheck” on Windows. It is reported on the IBM site as follows: Dbcheck crashes with unhandled exception in ClearCase 7.1

IBM says that there is currently no program fix for this failure, but does suggest a workaround. We have decided to take this workaround one step ahead and make it fully automated.
So, if you're running the following ClearCase versions: 7.1.0.0, 7.1.0.1 or 7.1.0.2 - you have to do nothing. We implemented the workaround for you as part of "ClearCheck".
Other versions can use "dbcheck" as usual.
